Service Description

A 6-Week Hands-On Architecture Elective for TK–5 Calling all young architects, builders, and creative thinkers! Join Urban Seeds Learning for a six-week adventure into the exciting world of architecture! Through hands-on building challenges, creative design projects, and playful exploration, children will discover how buildings stand tall, why bridges stay strong, and how architects design the spaces and communities around us. Each 90-minute session combines creativity with real-world learning as students experiment with shapes and structures, build towers and bridges, explore homes around the world, and draw their very own floor plans. Throughout the elective, children will develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, spatial awareness, and confidence in sharing their ideas. We'll finish with a Dream City Design Challenge and Family Gallery Walk, where our little architects can proudly showcase their creations! Program Details Ages: 4–7, with activities adaptable for ages 8–10 Duration: 6 weeks, 90 minutes per session Start Date: November 3, 2026 Location: Local church in Whittier, CA Cost: $120 for all six weeks or $25 per individual session No architecture experience needed—just curiosity, imagination, and a willingness to build! Space is limited! Advance registration is required so materials can be prepared for each young architect.
